— Fees & funding
Understanding the cost of care.
We understand that cost is an important part of choosing a care home. Our fees reflect the high standard of care we provide, and we are always happy to talk through your options.
— Our fees
Fees tailored to individual needs.
The cost of care at Burleigh House is calculated individually, based on the level of support your loved one requires. We do not publish a single fixed rate because every resident has different needs, and we believe in being fair and transparent rather than quoting a figure that may not apply.
To receive a personalised fee indication, please get in touch with our team. We will take the time to understand your situation and provide a clear, honest breakdown — with no obligation.
We are also happy to advise on the different ways care can be funded, including self-funding, local authority funding, and NHS Continuing Healthcare.

— How to pay
Funding options explained.
Self-funded
If you are funding care privately, our team will provide a full breakdown of fees tailored to your loved one's care needs. We are transparent about costs and will explain everything clearly.
Local authority funding
If a needs assessment determines that your local authority will contribute to care costs, we can work with you and the council to arrange a placement. Contact your local authority for an assessment.
NHS continuing healthcare
Some individuals with complex healthcare needs may qualify for NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC), which fully funds care. Your GP or local NHS team can advise on eligibility.
Deferred payment schemes
If your assets are tied up in property, local authorities may offer a deferred payment agreement, allowing you to fund care costs from the eventual sale of the property.
